The Sun Will Rise Again

Sun

As surely as the barren oak
Waits frozen in the ground,
Stripped of all its' vibrant leaves,
Comes Spring, it will rebound,
And spread its' shading branches
To cool the Summer's sun,
And so it is when darkness falls,
The sun will rise again.

The same holds true in Autumn,
When the flowers' petals fall,
To rest their seeds beneath the snow
And wait for Springs's recall.

So it is when clouds appear
And drench the earth with rain,
The sun is sure to follow
And draw it back again.

Can it only be the flowers,
The trees and falling rain,
That seem to fit so beautifully
Into the Master's Plan?

Or is it just coincidence,
And no natural law applies,
For every soul who leaves this earth,
A new born baby cries.

So, perhaps in times of sorrow,
Our faith we must retain,
For we too are a part of
The Creator's flawless plan.

And when our nights seem darkest,
We should try to realize,
That morning soon must follow,
And, again the sun will rise.
